As an instructional designer at Accenture, I worked on a project with an internal client at Workday to transfer their eLearning course from their existing LMS, Cognician, to a new LMS, D2L. This project required a brief needs analysis to determine which LMS would be best suited to meet the client’s needs.
Once we had identified D2L as the best LMS, my team and I worked on transferring the course content from Cognician to D2L. This involved significant reformatting and editing of the content to ensure that it was optimized for the new platform.
Throughout the project, I worked closely with the client to ensure that the course content met their needs and aligned with their vision. I also provided guidance on how to maximize the functionality of D2L to enhance the learning experience for the learners.
My key achievements were the successful transfer of the course content to D2L and the improvement of the learning experience for the learners. The course content was optimized for the new platform, and learners had access to a wider range of tools and resources to enhance their learning.
The success of this project was measured by the positive feedback received from the client and learners. The learners appreciated the enhanced learning experience provided by the new platform, and the client was pleased with the efficiency and effectiveness of the transfer process.
Overall, this role required a strong background in instructional design, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders was critical to the success of this role. Through my efforts, I was able to transfer an eLearning course from Cognician to D2L, improve the learning experience for the learners, and ensure that the client’s needs were met.
